Determining Information Quality in ICT Systems

The article deals with the estimation of information quality (IQ) in and communication technologies (ICT) systems. A number recent publications were analyzed, as well ISO standards concerning quality. Due to limitations known methods estimating IQ, authors present their own proprietary concept based on multidimensional multi-layer modeling using uncertainty. proposed this publication uses sixteen dimensions from literature. features are taken into account another layer states successive steps IQ model. An example calculations is also presented which mathematical evidence method used uncertainty extended dependent elements. presents a simulation example. This shows assumed dependencies between output input values.
